Social commitment

Caffè Carraro has made social commitment a fundamental objective of its mission.

Caffè Carraro has supported the research of the Abo Project since 2003 and to date has contributed to funding three projects along with other supporter companies.
The aim of the ABO Project is to build awareness of business as regards targeted cancer research.
The ABO Project aims to transfer the results obtained from specific research projects in the oncology field at the patient's bed, in the shortest time possible. For this purpose ABO Project is developing a specific area capable of transferring significant discoveries and innovations for improving diagnostics and treating tumours.

Caffè Carraro is a Fairtrade/Transfair supporter as it firmly believes in the principles of fair trade.
The Fairtrade certification system guarantees that the products bearing its symbol have been processed without leading to exploitation and poverty in the south of the world and have been purchased in accordance with the criteria of Fair Trade, protecting the environment and guaranteeing the social and health services for the communities.
As a result, Caffè Carraro Globo Equo coffee is good for both the consumer and for the producer.
